Salary: c£45,000 + Healthcare + Pension
Kendall Poole Consulting is currently recruiting for an Assistant Product Manager for a global company and market leader in their field of designing and manufacturing energy efficient heating and cooling systems for multiple sectors. Driving their ‘One Team’ value as a strong European business, this newly created role will be instrumental in enhancing the customer experience.
Reporting to the European Product, Innovation and Technical Support Manager you will be responsible for supporting the European product portfolio, including buy and resell products, and identifying innovative ideas. Working across a multi-functional team, engaging with colleagues across Europe and the US, you will support sales and technical design, assist with New Product Introduction processes, pricing margin control and co-ordinate product training.
Assisting in the management of the current product portfolio, this role will be instrumental in delivering some substantial improvements to the European business, whilst giving you the opportunity to enhance the customer experience, impacting the direction of NPD by proposing recommendations. Whilst monitoring and reporting product performance and trends for the European market, you will be part of the team supporting the customer’s technical queries and liaising with 3rd party suppliers.
Ideally you will be an academic achiever with additional product marketing training/qualifications or working towards these. Having international product management experience, within the manufacturing sector, displaying demonstrable technical aptitude, you may have knowledge of HVAC, thermal dynamics or related technical disciplines however, this is not essential as you will receive product training.
Candidates will have technical product development experience, an appreciation of marketing, brand repositioning, growing and developing a brand across Europe. A team player and collaborative, you will be analytical, able to present trends, analyse data and deliver high level reports to support the NPI process delivering to new markets. This position requires interaction with customers, internal/external teams and suppliers. You must be commercially orientated, able to advise on pricing across all revenue streams demonstrating exceptional oral and written communications skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders. French, Flemish and/or Dutch language skills would be advantageous.

With Safety being a core value, the role requires some international travel and whilst you will be home working, manufacturing is based in the Midlands, with sales and distribution in France and Belgium supporting a varied customer base.
