Kendall Poole Consulting is currently recruiting for a Sales & Service Team Manager for a Midlands based manufacturer.


Responsible for leading the large internal sales team and service engineers, managing day to day sales activity, and support in the field. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the large department, with a customer focus in product sales and support
  • Manage the recruitment, induction and training of the field service team
  • Set, monitor and review KPI’s for the internal sales team and service engineers
  • Engage in customer visits as and when required
  • Manage all finance and budget requirements within the department
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Forecast Accuracy
  • Achievement of SMART objectives linked to the Business Growth Plan

 Education and Experience:

  • Business related Degree, or experience within customer service or engineering service and support
  • Excellent leader able to demonstrate an open and inclusive management style
  • Excellent communicator able to define customer needs and convey company objectives
  • Previous experience in leading sales teams within a B2B environment
  • Excellent new business development skills
  • Well-honed organisational skills
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills                                                                         
  • Good financial understanding
  • Computer literate and numerate
  • Ability to see the big picture and be decisive
