Reporting to the Test Manager, this role will perform testing of products and related systems in the context of automated validation testing and continuous integration; will develop and contribute to test and test resource development, also contribute knowledge and experience to product development.

The Role:

  • Produce test cases from documented requirements
  • Perform tests and document results
  • Report product status, risks and observations to the technical lead or Test Manager
  • Develop test resources
  • Perform investigations as required

The Person:

  • HND or above in a technical discipline such as Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation or Software Engineering
  • Demonstrable testing track record and technical experience (electronics/software)
  • Experience in test automation frameworks and tools as well as driving automated test strategy for various programmes
  • Labview Core 2 mandatory, Core 3 and CLAD preferred
  • ISTQB Foundation or above, experience of National Instruments Test Stand/LabVIEW products, Linux, software development experience will be beneficial
  • IT & Computer infrastructure (Test environment)
  • Documentation, test specification
  • Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++)
  • A problem solver with expert attention to detail you will be analytical, systematic with a strong understanding of Quality Management systems
  • A positive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude  you will be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently displaying confidence with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers
