Training Coordinator

Location: Near Lichfield, Staffordshire

Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 + Bonus + Pension

 

We are representing a highly successful UK Company, part of a Global Group, which sells a range of market leading automated and manual bespoke products, to a number of sectors, offering installation and aftercare services.  With expertise in the door and window controls industry they have an extensive product range, backed by comprehensive project management skills, whilst offering full technical support for the supply only or supply and installation of automatic doors. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Training Coordinator within the Human Resources Department. Reporting to the HR Manager, with responsibility for the co-ordination and administration of learning and development activities, the role will ensure the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes.

 

The Role:

  • Design, develop and schedule training programmes
  • Market available training to employees and provide information about training sessions
  • Prepare and conduct inductions for new employees ensuring induction presentations and documents are regularly reviewed and updated
  • On-board new employees and train them in company policies and procedures
  • Control and manage the Training Planner & Training Matrix ensuring training is always up to date, relevant and meeting statutory requirements
  • Manage and maintain in house training facilities and equipment
  • Have an awareness of budget restrictions and find ways to increase and expand training within budget constraints
  • Execute full training cycle from planning to evaluating
  • Make recommendations for training solution improvements including systems, processes and e-learning tools
  • To identify and respond to development requirements for employees and devise individual training plans accordingly
  • Maintain all training records and provide monthly training statistics

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Good standard of education, Train the Trainer certified desirable and familiarity with industry best practices and standards
  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills with an attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively both within the team and inter-departmentally
  • Comprehensive I.T. skills including a working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality who has a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing requirements
