Our client is the UK's leading supplier of high-quality measuring instruments and a vacancy now exists for a Stores Person who can occasionally be an Accounts Assistant. As the UK & Ireland distributor for key Corporations, they supply automated petroleum test equipment for the petrochemical offshore and refining industries, and the company has grown to hold a major market share in its territory. There are members of staff who have been with the company for over 20 years. In part this is due to a team-based management style, an open-door policy for employees and the ongoing commitment to the growth of the company. The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Stores Person who can assist with basic bookkeeping on occasion supporting the Financial Controller. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in store / warehouse management and basic accounting functions, ensuring smooth operations in both areas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy, order processing and providing ad hoc administrative support.
